This mixture can be used as a soaking or cooking feed to supplement the ration during breeding or as a healthy treat.

Directions for use for soaked legumes and grains
- rinse well with warm water
- soak for 6 to 24 hours at room temperature
- rinse thoroughly with cold running water and allow to drain
Directions for use for cooked legumes and grains
- rinse well with warm water
- cook for 30 to 45 minutes
- allow to cool and drain
Cooking or soaking softens legumes and grains, making them easy to eat and very enjoyable.
During times of higher protein needs, like the breeding season, cooked legumes and grains offer easily digestible protein for the best results.
The soaked or cooked legume and grain mixture can be offered either alone or combined with NutriBird Eggfood.
Cooked feed can be prepared in larger quantities, frozen, and thawed daily as needed.
Make sure to offer only feed at room temperature.
Provide freely. Change the feed regularly and always provide fresh drinking water.
