1932
Starting a unique story
Prudent Versele begins producing cattle feeds from his grocery store in Astene, Belgium. Within 5 years, demand forces the construction of the first cattle feed plant in Deinze.
1957
Caring for animals on a large scale
The second generation invests in craftsmanship and expertise to produce high-quality pigeon, bird and farmyard animal nutrition on a large scale.
1969
Exploring new markets
The third generation of the Versele family diversifies product lines into feed and care products for a wider range of pets and performance animals. It's a period of acquisitions and market expansion across Western and Eastern Europe.
2010
Flying overseas
The fourth generation expands production globally, opening specialised facilities in China and the USA in order to be close to the market.
