Jouw uitdaging

  • Developing and supporting our commercial activities in your area.
  • Implementing our commercial strategies aimed to develop and increase business opportunities with existing customers and to find new customers.
  • Following and analysing market evolutions and trends in petfood, evaluating competitors' products and maintaining accurate records of all pricings by means of activity reports.
  • The set up and implementation of annual sales and marketing plans for the area.
  • Being permanently in contact with the salesforce and brand managers of our distributors in your areain order to implement and follow up the sales plans.
  • Mapping the Modern Trade (pet shop chains, DIY, online) and negotiating with key accounts. 
  • Setting up and following up media plans, taking contact with the press.
  • Leading product training sessions for sales personnel of our distributors.
  • Organizing and participating at professional exhibitions and consumer shows.
  • Performing regular store-checks together with distributors’ merchandizers or on your own.
  • Reporting to the Development Trade Sales Manager in the Belgian Headquarters. 

Jouw profiel

  •  You have a university degree.
  • You are experienced in sales and export within an international company.
  • You are interested in the petfood market.
  • You are sales and result driven
  • You have good communication and negotiation skills.
  • You have experience in coaching sales teams in the field. 
  • Fluent English is a must 
  • You are looking for a long-term employment.
  • You are willing to travel frequently to the far East (approximately two weeks per month) and occasionally work on weekend days.
  • You live within a reasonable distance from our HQ in Deinze, Belgium.
